My First Pop Up Card

I had a baby shower today that I was invited to, and the mom to be likes paper crafts too.
I (naturally) had to make a fun animal theme card to give the new mom.
I decided to go with a pop up card from CTMH Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge.

Heres my card

Those cute little onsies were cut out of a sheet of 12x12 cardstock. The stamped grass on the bottom is from Stampin! Up's new Sheltering Tree set.
I also used SU tiny wishes for the Hello Baby and punched it out with the word window punch and modern label punch.

Heres a few more views

The blue twine is trendy twine, Blueberry. It's one of the Original 6 :-)

that's all for today, but I do have another post planned for tomorrow!

Thanks for stopping by!

Pokemon Birthday Card

This months theme for CCE was either kids birthday or a superhero card.
I chose to make a birthday card, boy specific. It just feels like everything is girly,
and I am always in need of boy cards.

I found this cute cut file online and cut it with my cricut explore in Design Space.

Isn't he cute! Its my son, Brandon's favorite, Pikachu! (hope I spelled that right!)

I used Jaded Blossom card mat dies for the white layer. I love their products and these dies make cards go together quickly and add a finished look.

The Happy Birthday sentiment is from Sweet Stamp Shop. Their stamps are fun and very affordable.
Sometimes they're too cutsey for my taste, but they worked well with this card.

Black ink is momento Tuxedo Black and Stampin! Up Daffodil Delight

I am headed to a crop on Saturday with my Mom and am hoping to have a post a day for you next week! That's an ambitious goal, but I'm going to try!

Thanks for checking out today's project!

and another Thank You card....

This seems to just be the month of Thank You notes.

My cousins had us over for New Years Eve and we had a blast! We are usually working on NYE and this year we were off. My cousins had a kid friendly party, and that just ROCKS when you have little ones!

They have a Boxer named Zeke, and my dudes just LOVE him to pieces!

I was browsing SVGcuttingfiles.com and found a boxer! I knew I had to make a Thank You card for them using it!

I mean, how CUTE is this guy?!?

He has minimal fuss on him, he is a boy after all! ;-)

I did use some glossy accents on his white socks and chest, and some white gel pen to accent his eyes.

As always- the twine is from Trendy Twine. (pretty much all I use)
The stamp and label punch is from Stampin! Up.
I am loving enamel dots so much right now, but I totally do not remember where I found the ones I used on this card! (oops! Ill try to be better about that!)

Here's a few more views. Hopefully they've received this by now!

Until next time!

As Promised.....

My first crafty post!

I needed a couple of thank you notes for my boys to give to their Grandpa and a friend. Who is a better than Olaf?!

My boys were frozen obsessed when the movie was first out. (even our puppy is named Elsa!)

This cute little Olaf was a download from the Cricut Design Space and cut with my *new* cricut Explore.

The snowflakes and icicles at the top are from Jaded Blossom winter dies set.

The blue twine is Twisted Blueberry from Trendy Twine.

Here's a few different views of the card and some details. I made 3 total, and I am thinking I should whip up a few more to have on hand for the future!

Whew! I finally did it!

Thanks for stopping by!

Finally! I started a blog for allll my crafty goodness!

I've been looking on all of my crafty friends blogs and thought it was time (past time, actually!) to start my own.

I am hoping to post on here a couple of times a week, follow along with other crafty friends blogs, participate in some challenges, and maybe (just maybe!) get a guest spot or short term spot on a design team! (that would be so awesome!)

So, click the follow button on the side bar if you're so inclined, and I'll be sure to post a project in the next few days or so! :-)

Until next time,
