Easter Bunnies hopping to Kinder!

Nathan wanted to 'help' me make treats for his class for Easter.

We went to the store and he picked out all the candy we would use.

Then we came home and got to work stuffing the bags with Easter grass and all of
our fun Easter candy we found.

That was where my 'help' started and ended!
The little rabbit only filled one bag! He left the rest to me!

:-)

Heres what I came up with

We made 26 total- he wanted to be sure he had an extra for Mrs. Franklin and her son <3

I have lots of crafts to do this week- seems like its birthday season!

Thanks for stopping by!

22 Years Young!

My Baby Brother, Adam, just celebrated his 22nd Birthday!

Here we are on his BIRTH-day

I made his birthday card to look like the mascot at his school, Grizz!

The school colors are black and gold- not a color scheme I am used to, but I am happy with the end result!

He LOVED the card and knew I was going for Grizz right away!
Its hard to tell but the background paper is gold shimmer. The balloons are from create a critter cricut cartridge and the Bear is from Teddy Bear Parade. I will admit that I need some work with paper piecing my bears together, haha!

I used some totally black Trendy Twine and the stamp is Jaded Blossom.

Thanks for stopping by!

Another Birthday Wish!

So  I totally did it again....

 I haven't blogged since March 18th! Eeeek!

Well I haven't really crafted much, but I do have a few things to share this coming week.

I made this fairy card for my Mother in law on her Birthday!

I finally tried the 'Bokeh' technique that everyone is doing.
My review is that I am simply not patient enough for it.
Its pretty and ethereal, but it is also very messy and takes too long.

I used (my favorite) card mat dies from Jaded Blossom and stamps from
Sweet Stamp Shop. The sweet fairy is from A Childs First Year Cricut cartridge.
I sprayed the entire card with glimmer mist to make it sparkle!

Heres a few more views:

That's it for now, but I have more posts scheduled!

Welcome, sweet baby!

Another one of Eric's coworkers had a baby recently. A little girl! Swoon!

Naturally, he asked me to make a card to go with a sweet little gift too.

Pink?! Girl Clothes?! Lace?!

OK!

I used my favorite, Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge.

I love the way the front came out.

The stork was cut using my cricut E2.
I used some lace and rhinestones from my stash and some punches to decorate the corner and the "its a girl" sentiment.

Take a look at the inside

I alternated the BABY with two pinks and stamped the sentiment from Jaded Blossom.

I loved making this card, and rumor has it- they loved receiving it!

Thanks for stopping by!

Green Beers all around!

While everyone is celebrating St. Patricks day with corned beef and green beer, we are celebrating my brother in law, Ryan!

Its his birthday today!

Since he lives way up in the artic cold that is the UP, we won't
be celebrating all together this year.

I made him this card that has a total St. Patricks day theme with a birthday wish!

That's 13 mini green beers!

I cut them using my cricut E2 and the Everyday Pop Up cartridge.
The sentiment on both the front and inside is Unity Stamp Co.
I also used Jaded Blossom card mat dies and some twine from Trendy Twine.

I also decorated the inside, too!

Hopefully this card made it alllll the way to Kincheloe!

Happy Birthday, Ryan! We hope your day is full of green beers and corned beef that's as good as your moms! :-)

Happy Birthday, Hubs!

Today is my sweet husband's 31st Birthday!

Heres the cute card I made for him

isn't it cute?!

The buck and doe (that's Eric and me, ovbi!) is from the Cricut design space and
cut using my Explore.

The stamp is from Unity Stamp Co.

That's it. A cute & sweet card for my handsome guy.

I giggle a little, because we've been together since we were teenagers- and I use to think 30 was SO old. Now the old fart is 31! ;-)

Until Next time!

Jaded Blossom March Challenge

Its that time of the month again!

Another Jaded Blossom challenge!

This months theme is Easter and it has to have a JB stamp on it somewhere.

I decided to combine JB current challenge with my CCE group theme.
This month is napkin card.

Napkin card?!

Thats what I said too.

So I took Pinterest and YouTube by storm!

I found the cutest Easter napkins at the dollar general and got ready to make my napkin cards!

I think they turned out super cute!

I used Jaded Blossom card mat dies (a card makers must have!) and the stamp 'for some bunny special' is also Jaded Blossom

I added a pearl to the bow, some stickles to the egg and bunny's nose,  and a few gems on the sentiment. Heres a few more views

I made 10 cards in all!

Be sure to link up your Easter project using Jaded Blossom stamps here

Thanks for checking out my Easter card today!

Its been awhile....

since my last blog post!

I was under the weather for a full 10 days with
some kind of super bug or something, so
I didn't really have anything to even share!

But I do now!

My cousin, Gerald, had a birthday recently and I made
him a super fun card to celebrate!

Its Mike from Monsters Inc.

The colors are so fun and bright!

Mike is also popped up on an Action Wobble.

Heres a few more pics

The inside sentiment is from Sweet Stamp Shop.

I stamped the back with my new stamp, it has my blog address on it! :-)

I've got 5 posts scheduled for the upcoming week!

Hopefully I will keep going strong with the crafting and posting!

Thanks for stopping by!

Gotta Catch them All!

Brandon needed a couple of Thank You notes
to send for some gifts he received.

He wanted to use Pikachu from Pokémon.

I found this (free!) SVG on Pinterest and cut it using my
Cricut Explore

The 'Thank You' at the bottom is from Stampin Up! Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, stamped in yellow momento ink.
I used my ticket stub corner chomper from WRMK on the white mat in the background, and some
silver enamel dots from Michaels.

It's Me, Mario!

After I made 3 of those difficult Luigi birthday cards,
I really wanted some Mario cards too.

I found a Mario SVG and set out to make 3 cards with him.

Luckily, I made him decent in size so the pieces weren't too small.

Here's what I came up with:

I really like the glitter background paper, I feel like it
gives it a gamey vibe.

I added some enamel dots, and kept it simple.

The inside is stamped with "happy birthday"

That's all for today!

Come back tomorrow if you're a fan of Pokémon!

Lotus Blossom

I used the new Stampin Up! Lotus Blossom set this past weekend
to make a few thank you cards to have on hand.

Its a 2 step stamp, and I was quite frustrated with the process, haha!

I went to my trusty friend, YouTube, to figure out what I was doing wrong.

I finally figured it out, and the results are wonderful!

I really intended to write down the color inks I used, but I quickly forgot over the laughter of the retreat! (I blame Aunt Billie Jo and Dawn!)

Here's a few more pictures of this. I made four total.

I have a few more posts with projects I made from my retreat.

I'm sad to say that I've been back a week and STILL haven't unpacked my stuff!

Hopefully, I'll get down there and crafting some fun spring stuff!

Until next time!
